Hey Hawthorne, the boots are fully heat moldable and that "bump" should be able to be removed. Or, if you'd like, contact Burton customer service for a possible exchange.

felt great in the store but disovered a horrble pressure point after strapping into my bindings. took the liner out and found a bump in one of the seams painfully hits me right in the centr of my heel bone, mostly noticed on left boot, why burton why did you do that will be returnig them unfortunatly
