Shipping & Returns Policy

This online shipping and return policy does not apply to purchases at any of our brick and mortar EXIT real world locations.

Enjoy FREE SHIPPING on orders over $60 and NO SALES TAX on orders at exitrealworld.com. This FREE shipping offer is for the contiguous USA only.

If your shipping address is a PO BOX or APO address we will ship your order with USPS because our preferred carrier, UPS won't usually deliver to these locations.

Product Shipping
We do our best to ship all items the same day they are ordered. Most orders are shipped by noon the next day. Some items may take up to 48 hours to ship. Shipping time in transit is measured from the day the package is picked up by the shipping carrier, to the time it arrives at its final destination. Please allow up to 48 hours for orders to be processed and shipped.

All items purchased from exitrealworld.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier or carrier pick-up.

EXIT real world cannot be held responsible for any shipping delays before or after shipment due to holidays, adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, or any other circumstances outside our control. International Shipping
Sorry, we do not sell and/or deliver to addresses outside the U.S.  We do not currently process international orders or charge credit cards that are issued to addresses outside the United States.

Canceled Orders

If an order is canceled by the customer after we have shipped it, we will have to charge a 4% return fee by subtracting from the refund amount (to cover credit card charges that we will relinquish for the initial transaction).

Return Resolutions:
If you are unhappy with an item you ordered, we will be happy to do one of the following as long as the tags are still attached, the item is unused, odor free, and shows no signs of wear:

1. We can exchange your item for another item. (Our free shipping offer does not apply to exchanges, unless a special arrangement has been made for your case with an EXIT sales representative).
2. We can issue a credit to your EXIT real world account that can be used at our online store or any of our Oregon locations.
3. We offer a refund.  However, if you have taken advantage of our free shipping offer on the item, our cost of shipping your order will be subtracted from your refund amount.

Defective merchandise
EXIT real world does not guarantee the exchange or credit for a defective item. If you believe your product is defective please send it back along with the return form explaining the defect and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

Return Shipping Costs:
We will reimburse you for shipping costs if we have fulfilled an order improperly. If it is the correct item that you ordered, but you still wish to do a return, we ask that you cover the cost of shipping. We don't accept CODs on return items--postage must be prepaid by the sender.

Returning a package:
All return requests must be made within 14 days of the time your order is delivered. If you would like to return an item, call 503-585-EXIT between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday, Pacific Standard Time (or email: [email protected]) and we will issue you a Return Authorization Number and give you the instructions you will need to process your return. From the time a return authorization number is issued, you have 3 days to ship your returning package. If you can't return the package within 10 days of the return authorization number we've issued, please contact us again and we will update your ticket with a new return authorization number. No returned package will be accepted without a return authorization number written on the outside of the package. Please be certain to complete the return form located on the bottom of your return instructions that were included with your order. Repack the item(s) in the box your order was shipped in.
Before buying/returning an item(s), please read the policy below regarding that item(s).

CLOTHING
All items must be unused and include the original packaging. Clothing must be clean and unwashed with all tags attached (no hair, stink or signs of wear, please). Once clothing has been worn and/or washed it cannot be returned or exchanged unless something completely crazy happened like it shrunk to the size of a Ken or Barbie doll's clothes.  Then, we can entertain the idea of contacting the manufacturer for a direct return to them.

SHOES and BOOTS
Shoes/boots must not show wear and must include the original undamaged packaging (Try your new shoes on inside on the carpet - this will help keep your new shoes clean and returnable). If you plan to return your shoes/boots do not wear them. Shoe/boot boxes must not have tape or any other shipping labels on them - use the box the shoes were shipped in to return to EXIT real world (Keeping the manufacturer packaging in good form). Once shoes have been worn on the streets they cannot be returned or exchanged.  DOH!  Duh...

SKATEBOARDS
All skateboards must be un-skated and in like-new condition. No skateboard deck is completely guaranteed not to break. Once a skateboard has been used it cannot be returned or refunded. Once a skateboard has been assembled, its parts cannot be returned or exchanged. EXIT real world is not responsible for actual deck color and/or dimensions. EXIT real world does not replace broken decks or decks with pressure cracks.

SNOWBOARDS
All snowboards must include original packaging and labels as it was received. No snowboards are completely guaranteed. Once a snowboard has been ridden, it cannot be returned or refunded, unless there is an apparent manufacturer defect, in which case we will assist in setting up a return with the manufacturer.

VIDEOS
Videos must be unopened and in original packaging.
