EXIT is showing Right Brain, Left Brain in Portland this Friday. How did filming it go?
Filming went well, just kept on the grind as much as possible last season.
When Think Thank sets out to make a video do you have a concept in mind before you start? Or does it happen as the footage comes together?
We usually go into it with an idea. It makes it easier to ride and know what you're trying to capture if you have that goal in mind.
Right Brain Left Brain is a double disc right? Was that planned or did everyone rip double hard last year?
That was planned from the beginning. so riding extra hard was mandatory this season for everyone. we had some big plans that needed to be filled.
Did you make it to the Red Rocks premier? How was it?
Naw, I wasnt able to make it out to that one unfortunately because it was also the night of our Seattle premier. but Pat Milbery definitely puts on a good show. i heard it was wicked.

Do you think that is the future of Video premiers?
I'm not sure... what do you think?
How is Dinosaurs going?
Killing it, always.
I noticed only one of the four boards in the line this year are reverse camber. Whats your take on which way a snowboard should be bent?
It's personal preference. i've ridden both, and i like both. i think that reverse is a little more specific to powder and rails though... no high speed park runs on a hard packed day, and not insane for pipe either, but then again, i'm not really one to talk on the latter.

The DWD graphics are really good this year. What is the story / inspiration behind your board graphic?
Thanks man. my graphics this season are from the quote, 'smile to your face, stab you in the back'. ohhhhhhhhhh... eviiiiilllllll sounding eh?
Construction wise have you ever thought about doing a petrified wood core?
For those days when you really need a board that's gonna rail? yes.
Got any sweet travel plans for this winter?
Oh man, i should, but as far ahead as i've thought is Portland for the end of november/beginning of december. Hopefully one of the hills is open by then. I've gotta put 'make winter schedule' on my to do list, thanks for the reminder.
Come watch Sean ride one of his Dinosaurs in "Think Thank's Right Brain, Left Brain" this Friday at the Portland EXIT 17th Birthday Party.
Jesse Burtner, Christina Burtner, Austin Hironaka, Ryan Garvie (northwest dwd rep) and their friend Ian will all be there. Bring your friend Ian and he or you might win some DWD gear.
Check out the teaser and the flier.
