How long have you been riding for Zero?
After I hit puberty, I was a late bloomer.

Do you think your part in North 2: Port Moody Blues was your major break through?
It definitely helped I’m sure. I was hyped to be a part of a Canadian video with Jeremy Petit involved. I don’t think I’ve broken through yet.

What’s your favorite part about riding for a Black Box company?
Everyone involved behind it. A skateboard company owned and ran by a skateboarder.

Tell me what a typical day in the life is if you live at Black Box.
Get woken up at noon because of employees lunch break session. Put on your cleanest dirty shirt. Cop a ride to either Toms 24 or Carl’s Jr. to get a big burger. Sesh the park after the dust clears. Probably don’t go skate, but then do. Homies roll through, hang out, skate again. Stuff everyday gets a little different but that’s pretty much it.

Switching from Circa to Circa combat happened some what recently, are you glad you made the switch and why?
No and yes. It sucks I don’t get to go on tour with the Circa homies anymore. Those dudes are sick. At combat I feel more involved probably because there is only 5 dudes on the team. Short bus kills it, cant wait for the next trip.



What are your travel plans for the year?
Still tripping, skateboarding, camping. Two weeks sleeping in the woods and skating throughout the southeast of British Colombia with all the homies from the van. Then possibly zero summer tour the U.S. I think.

How many times have you been up through Oregon?
I go through like 4 times a year at least. I want to go back right now. Good skating through those parts.

Did you enjoy your time here?
Yeah, every time.

What do you miss most about living in Canada?
Nothing anymore im living here right now. I’ve been able to spend a lot of time here lately, so I’m kind of getting sick of it. Trips are enough though. So, I’ll live in Canada for a while I’m sure.

Who’s your favorite travel companion and why?
Lets just take them all. Too many, can’t choose just one

Have you ever thought about what you would like to do after your skateboarding career?
No not really. I’m down with just living for today. Right now I’m skateboarding. After that I’ll probably be poor.
