February 22, 2007 was the Grand Opening party for the new EXIT at Bridgeport Village. Purple and green were the theme colors and on the big screen played Foundation Skateboarding’s new video, “Cataclysmic Abyss”. It was a cold and rainy Friday night, but a grip of people made it out to have a good time at the new space.
Hundreds of mini hamburgers, mini hot dogs, french fries, cup cakes, grape sodas, beer, wine and apple sodas were devoured by countless skateboarders and snowboarders. Raffled off before and after the video were Volcom snow clothes, Foundation skateboards, Fallen shoes and skate videos. The video was well received and full of too much insane skateboarding to fathom! Portraits of the partygoers in front of the skateboard wall were entertaining and a fun edition for the EXIT archives.
At the end of it all, the skate bar was transformed into an iron-on t-shirt bar, where partygoers were given their choice of purple or green shirt, the EXIT logo of their choice and were then able to have EXIT staffers whip up their cool new shirt before their very eyes. To top it off, the tees were a gift, as a way for EXIT to thank all who came!

Thanks to all of EXIT’s staff and friends that helped: Hollie, Anna, Kate, Kevin, Rob, Jess, Rose, Sheena, Mitchell, Stevi, Manson, Josh, Kenny, Austin, Paul, Clayton, Colin, and Gabe … We couldn’t have had such a fun party with out you!
