Temperature ranges cover all possible conditions, and this x-cool wax can be rubbed on, or IRONED on with an iron for ultimate, optimal performance.
Note: When applying any Fluoridated wax, make sure the base has at least 1 good coat of a hydro-carbon based wax (previously applied) for the Fluoridated wax to stick to. Just a hint...
Make sure you select the correct wax for the snow conditions.

Check out this chart for which wax to select.
Warm
32 to 26 F
(0 to -3 C) |
Warm, wet, fresh, spring snow. Sunny or drizzle.
In warm snow, waxes that contain fluoro are the fastest. Use Oneballjay X-Wax warm, Viper warm, and 4WD warm for maximum speed. Viper Paste and Liquid waxes are excellent in this temperature, as well. |
Cool
28 to 21 F
(-2 to -6 C) |
Fresh new snow, old dirty snow, summer conditions.
Fluoro and Graphite are the key additives here. Mixing Black Magic wax with X-Wax in very fast, you'll pass skiers with ease. Viper Paste and Liquid waxes also haul balls! |
All Temp
23 to 12 F
(-5 to -11 C) |
Man made snow, new snow, falling snow, ice, hardpack.
A wide range of waxes will run fast in this temperature. Mixing Fluoro with Graphite will make you go extra fast! Viper cold, X-wax all-temp, and 4WD waxes are the fastest. |
Cold
12 F & colder
(-11 C & colder) |
Dry, crunchy, aggressive, falling, and man made snow.
Reducing the amount of Fluoro is key for fast bases when it gets really cold. Mix a small amount of Black Magic Graphite to any cold wax for maximum speed. |
