SEBO WALKER INTERVIEWEXIT CAUGHT UP WITH SEBO ABOUT HIS DAY TO DAY LIFE AND WHAT WE CAN EXPECT TO SEE FROM HIM IN THE FUTURE
Name: Sebo Walker
Sponsors: Stacks, Lakai (flow), Autobahn (flow), Exit Real World, USKO collective
Currently Residing: West LA
What is it that you miss the most about Oregon:
I miss my girlfriend, family and friends the most when I'm gone. Besides that I really miss the clean air, and fresh water. Those are two things you don't really get in LA.
Run us through a normal day when you are down in California:
I wake up around 8:30 every morning, gather the clothes I'm gonna wear for the day, and head into the gym. I usually shower, and stretch a bunch to get ready for the day. Then head Stoner plaza to warm up. It's my favorite park and it's always mellow In the morning. From there I go out and street skate with friends and filmers and try to get clips. I skate all day until it gets dark and then either go to a park that's lit up, or back to the gym to stretch and hot tub if I'm sore. At night I usually go to Starbucks and read or work on painting a new grip tape graphic. Lately I have been going to bed pretty early to get the full use of the next day. Trying to be as productive as possible while filming for my Stacks part. That's my average day in a nutshell.
You had a pretty bad ankle injury a few months back how is that coming along:
I did have a bad sprain but I rehabbed it really well and did tons of exercises to rebuild strength. It feels just as strong if not stronger now and I'm stoked to be back at 100%.
How has it been riding for Stacks:
It's one the the best things that's happened to me as far as sponsors go. Reese Forbes, Micheal leon, and Mark Schlosser are all really amazing at what they do and have been great role models and helped me build my career. Being a part of a new board company from the very beginning is truly amazing and I feel very blessed to be apart of it.
Stacks has some really cool artwork for board graphics, who does the art work for Stacks:
Michael Leon is the art director. He is an amazing artist and does most of the graphics.
You have an online video part coming out, how long have you been filming for it:
I have only been filming for about two months. Trying to get out every day and get as much as I can when I'm with a filmer.
How does it feel to have it done:
I'm not done yet so I'm not sure. I'm stoked to have the clips i've gotten so far though. It will feel really good to finish and see the final product.
Was there any last minute tricks that you wanted to get for your part:
I got a clip in Sacramento a couple hours before my train back to Oregon, so that was last minute for sure. I still have a few things I want to get when I get back to LA.
Tell everyone were they will be able to watch it:
The Stacks site:commonwealthstacks.com
So whats lined up next for you after this video part:
I will be filming for the next Exit video, traveling, and working on getting coverage in magazines.
