How was your winter this year?
Awesome, I rode all over the world and traveled for 5 months... the highlights were cat boarding with MFM in Canada and Riding in Japan, hot springs and amazing people....
Its finally summer in Portland. What does a snowboarding mogul (puns right?) do in the sunny months?
I own Holden and am in the office 5 days a week. I also love the rivers, ocean, bars, bikes etc that that PDX has to offer.
Videograss has a new movie coming out, and it has quite a line up. Anyone have a standout part?
Jed Anderson, Chris Grenier, Nick Dirks for comedy, Justin Benne and Alex Cantin... ripping.
When is the Portland Premier?
August 2nd at the Living Room Theatres right across from Powells and the Ace downtown... 2 shows: one for kids at 6, and one for old kids that like beer at 7... After party at 10 or so at the Beauty Bar...
Any up and comers stand out?
Alex Cantin, really good style and great tricks... Chris Grenier is new to VG, and man, he is soooo good!
I couldn't help notice some rollerblades in the teaser. Do you have any experience with that form of transportation?
I used to play hockey back in Maine so before blades were overtaken by nerds, really tough hockey dudes (like me) used them in the summer. I strapped on a pair at K2 last summer, really bummed some folks out too....
I peeked at the 2011 Holden catalog and it looks like you guys turned it up to 11. What will people be excited about this year?
Man, its the best line yet, thats all one can say... go to Exit to see it in early Sept.... before it sells out.
I heard you stole an EXIT employee to work at Holden. Any truth to that?
You seem like you make a lot of moves in the snowboarding world. What is it about snowboarding that makes you want to put so much energy into it.
